In today’s evolving landscape, Ukrainian youth are gaining new opportunities for international travel, which is particularly relevant in the context of economic development and youth mobility.

President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a directive to the government to simplify border crossing procedures for young Ukrainian citizens.

Currently, restrictions apply to individuals up to 18 years old, but following his initiative, these limits are proposed to be raised to 22 years old to remove barriers for more young people wishing to travel and gain experience abroad.

These changes are intended to promote greater integration of Ukrainian youth into the global community, expanding opportunities for education, internships, and cultural exchanges.

This represents a significant step in the direction of a policy that supports young Ukrainians in their pursuit of personal and professional growth.
