SBU Strikes Again at ‘Shahed’ Logistics Hub in Tatarstan, Increasing Pressure on Russian Military Supplies
On August 13, Ukrainian intelligence confirmed another successful strike against a strategically significant logistics facility located in the Republic of Tatarstan.
This site serves as a key storage and transportation hub for ‘Shahed’ drones and foreign components essential for their manufacturing and deployment.
According to the SBU press service, the targeted area is situated in the Russian settlement of Kzyl-Yul, more than 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine’s borders.Local residents captured footage of fires and explosions within the facility, confirming the attack’s effectiveness.
Ukrainian officials emphasized that these operations are part of a systematic campaign to weaken Russian military logistics, aiming to diminish Russia’s capacity for ‘Shahed’-based terrorism against Ukraine.
Authorities stated that efforts to strike military warehouses storing weapons and military materials will continue, as Ukraine seeks to counteract Russian aggression. This was not the first such operation: on August 9, Ukraine’s long-range drones previously targeted the same military site in Tatarstan, demonstrating the consistency and strategic intent behind Kyiv’s actions.
Each operation underscores Ukraine’s ability and willingness to strike deep into enemy territory, reducing Moscow’s offensive capabilities and preventing further escalation of hostilities.
