Russia spreads fake reports about alleged murder of a woman from Vinnytsia by TCC and CPD staff

Russian information channels are actively disseminating fabricated narratives aimed at discrediting Ukrainian authorities and sabotaging the ongoing mobilization process.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, a fake story has appeared online claiming that a 72-year-old woman from Vinnytsia region was allegedly murdered by personnel of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC) of Ukraine.
Propaganda plots suggest that the woman, named Sofia Mak, was beaten due to suspicions of aiding draft dodgers, and subsequently died in a hospital.
However, official law enforcement agencies have not reported any such incident.
There is also no evidence that an incident involving a woman of that name has taken place in Vinnytsia region.
The Center emphasizes that hostile sources continue to create and spread false information to destabilize Ukraine.
They have launched multiple layered information operations, including calls for violence and discrediting Ukrainian military personnel and authorities, especially those working in TCCs.
Previously, the Center reported attempts by the Russian side to sow chaos within Ukraine through Telegram bots that incite arson of mobilization centers and encourage Ukrainians to commit crimes, supposedly to disrupt mobilization efforts.
Such activities could lead to casualties or criminal liability for those involved.
Experts underline that the main goal of the enemy is not only misinformation but also collecting personal data of Ukrainians to further destabilize the situation in the country.
