North Korea Increases Military Presence in Russia: New Deployments and Training Missions

North Korea is actively expanding its military support for Russia amid ongoing geopolitical conflicts that are escalating globally.
According to Vadym Skibitsky, deputy head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, the country continues to demonstrate its loyalty by providing not only technical aid but also substantial military reinforcement.
The North Korean troops are mainly stationed in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, where four brigades have already been formed.
Military analysts estimate that approximately 11,000 North Korean soldiers are now deployed there, carrying out tasks related to supporting and maintaining defensive operations.
This expanded involvement signifies a strategic move by Pyongyang to gain valuable combat experience and influence in the ongoing conflict.
