Active Frontline Operations: Over 130 Clashes and Extensive Enemy Attacks Since Start of Year

Since the beginning of the current year, Ukrainian military forces and defense units have recorded more than 130 isolated combat engagements across various frontlines.
According to official reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 p.m.
on August 12, a total of 133 active combat clashes have taken place, with 35 occurring on the Donbas and Pokrovsk directions.
The enemy, comprising Russian occupation forces, employs a wide range of weaponry, including cruise missiles, aircraft, and kamikaze drones, while also frequently shelling Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.
In the past 24 hours, the enemy launched a single missile strike using four missiles, conducted 67 airstrikes, and dropped over 130 guided bombs, in addition to deploying 1,528 kamikaze drones.
Additionally, they carried out more than 3,600 artillery and mortar attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure.
On certain sectors, active fighting continues with regular clashes and offensive operations by the adversary.
For example, on the North-Slovoian and Kursk directions, nine separate skirmishes have been documented.
In the South-Slovoian sector, the enemy carried out three offensive actions near Kamyanka, while on the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders managed to halt five attempts of enemy breakthrough near Kindrashivka, Moscow, and Kupyansk.
The Lyman sector saw 15 attacks by Russian forces on positions in Hrekyivka, Myrne, Zarichne, Karpivka, Torske, Dibrova, as well as approaches toward Shandriholove and Serebrianka.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled eight enemy assaults near Hryhorivka and Viyamka.
In Kramatorsk, the Russian army made two attempts to breach reinforcements in Olexandro-Shultynne and Stupochki.
The most intense fighting occurs in the Toretsk area, where four attacks targeted settlements of Nelipivka, Shcherbynivka, and Yablunivka.
Near Pokrovsk and neighboring towns, the enemy launched 33 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions, successfully countering most of them, with two more ongoing clashes.
On the Novopavlivsk direction, 22 enemy attempts were made to break through Ukrainian defenses in the regions of Dachne, Novoukrayinka, Vilne Polye, Olexandrad, Tolstoho, Myrne, Maliyivka, Voskresenka, and Andriivka-Klevtsovo.
The Huliaipole sector experienced attacks from the enemy toward Poltava and an airstrike on Bilohirya.
In the Orikhiv area, Ukrainian defenders repelled two assaults near Kamianske, while the settlements of Stepnohirsk and Plyavni were subjected to guided bomb strikes.
On the Pre-Dnipro sector, the enemy launched six attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses.
Overall, the situation remains tense, with Ukrainian troops bravely defending their land, halting advancing enemy forces, and destroying their attempts to penetrate Ukrainian positions.
