Russia intensifies military activities in Zaporizhzhia: additional forces and equipment transferred to the region

According to Ukrainian military and intelligence sources, Russian occupation forces are conducting large-scale relocations on the southern front, particularly in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Official reports confirm that the Russians are deliberately transferring additional units and equipment toward Orikhiv and Huliaipole, indicating an escalation of their offensive capabilities in this area.
Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, stated that intelligence reports reveal further deployment of forces and assets into Zaporizhzhia.
Specifically, it involves mobilizing standard equipment of the Airborne Forces, which suggests Russia’s intentions to complicate the situation for Ukrainian defenders.
Previous reports from experts and sources indicate that a significant amount of weaponry, including tanks, trucks with ammunition, fuel tankers, and military hardware, have been transferred to the Zaporizhzhia front.
The situation in the western parts of the region, from Plavni to Shcherbaky, is reportedly worsening, with Russian forces continuously pressing Ukrainian positions, increasing the risk for local populations and military operations.
