Long-range UAV strikes by the Security Service of Ukraine target Russian missile systems manufacturing plant

On the night of August 11, Ukrainian special services conducted a targeted drone attack on a key military manufacturing facility in Russia, focusing on the production of vital missile components.
This information was confirmed by sources within the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), which reported that the attack targeted the Arzamas Instrument Building Plant located in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The plant is known for producing precise gyroscopic devices, missile control systems, onboard computers, and other complex components, including those used in the X-32 and X-101 missiles.
According to preliminary reports, Ukrainian drones managed to strike at least four different sites within the plant, causing significant damage to equipment and infrastructure.
This action is part of Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to target strategic Russian military and industrial facilities, aiming to weaken the adversary’s capabilities.
SBU representatives have emphasized their commitment to continuing such strikes to bolster national security and disrupt Russian military logistics and production chains.
The attack aligns with Kyiv’s broader strategy of applying asymmetric warfare tactics to drain Russian resources and impair their war machine.
