Escalation in Zaporizhzhia: Airstrikes, Wounded, and Increasing Military Activity

The situation in the Zaporizhzhia region remains tense and rapidly evolving, as recent days have seen large-scale Russian airstrikes that have caused significant destruction and human casualties.

According to official sources, the number of wounded in Zaporizhzhia city increased to 20 following an air raid conducted the day before.

This attack involved guided bombings dropped on strategically important sites, including a bus station and a university clinic, raising alarm among local residents.Military reports indicate that the aggressor regime is intensifying its efforts by mass deploying troops and heavy equipment into the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army registered approximately 590 enemy attacks across 13 towns and villages in the area.

Russian forces used various types of drones and launched strikes from aircraft, missile systems, and artillery against settlements such as Koshova, Charyvne, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, Plavni, Malaya Tokmachka, Novomykolaivka, Novodanilivka, Bilenke, Balabine, Ohirtovo, and Huliaipole.A few days ago, a 61-year-old woman was killed in the Stepnohirsk community due to shelling, and another woman was wounded in Huliaipole.

This ongoing escalation demonstrates the increasing aggressiveness of the occupiers and underscores the urgent need to strengthen defenses to protect civilians and critical infrastructure.
