Zelensky and Swedish Prime Minister Discuss Ukraine’s Aviation Development and Defense Cooperation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky engaged in a comprehensive phone conversation with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, during which key issues regarding bilateral cooperation in defense and security were discussed.

Official sources indicate that the leaders addressed the ongoing military situation, as well as the diplomatic processes surrounding the war in Ukraine.Zelensky emphasized Sweden’s unwavering support for a swift and just resolution to the conflict initiated by Russia, highlighting the importance of timely peace initiatives.

He stated that Russia must take the first steps toward ending the war it started and assured that Ukraine would continue coordinating efforts with Sweden and other partners to strengthen its position internationally.Furthermore, the discussion covered potential formats for upcoming visits and meetings, with the parties agreeing to plan these engagements soon to deepen cooperation.

Significant attention was given to the development of Ukrainian military aviation, in particular, the selection of platforms for enhancing Ukraine’s aerial capabilities.
