US Vice President Joe Biden warns that neither side — Ukrainians nor Russians — will be fully satisfied with any diplomatic resolution to the conflict.

He believes that negotiations aimed at finding a compromise are important, even if those efforts do not lead to immediate peace.

Biden emphasized that achieving peace in Ukraine is an extremely complex task, as any agreement acceptable to both parties might leave them dissatisfied.

He pointed out that without clear leadership, such as Donald Trump’s, successful dialogue seems unlikely, especially given recent discussions about a potential meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Furthermore, Washington is actively involved diplomatically, with Trump’s influence considered crucial.

Biden quotes remarks from Trump after a recent call: “It may work, or it may not, but it’s worth trying.

We should use all diplomatic means to bring this conflict to an end.” Analysts note that a meeting between Zelensky and Putin before Trump’s upcoming summit is unlikely to produce a breakthrough, considering the ongoing political and military complexities.

The events surrounding potential negotiations and compromises remain key topics on the international political agenda, as global players see the situation as very delicate and difficult to resolve.
