According to sources within Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Ukrainian armed forces conducted a successful operation targeting a strategic Russian infrastructure facility in the Komi Republic.

The target was the LUCOIL-Uhtan Oil Refinery, located more than two thousand kilometers from Ukraine’s borders.

This action marks a significant step in Ukraine’s efforts to counter Russian military infrastructure, as the plant is a crucial supplier of fuel and lubricants to the occupation forces, supporting their logistical needs.

Ukrainian intelligence sources report that the drone attack caused extensive damage, including hitting a tank with petroleum products, leading to spillage and environmental contamination.

Additionally, the gas processing plant and condensate facility were damaged, which are used to produce propane, butane, and gasoline.

This operation exemplifies Ukraine’s increased use of unmanned aerial vehicles and cyber capabilities in targeting enemy logistics and strategic sites.

Earlier, Russian Telegram channels reported on the attack on the Komi refinery, confirming the seriousness and impact of the strike.
