Ukraine Launches Precise Strike on Strategic Russian Oil Refinery in Saratov Region
In a significant military operation conducted last night, Ukrainian drone forces targeted a major facility within Russia’s oil industry located in the Saratov region.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, strikes resulted in powerful explosions and large fires at the Saratov oil refinery, indicating substantial damage to this critical strategic asset.
This refinery is one of Russia’s largest in the oil sector, with an annual processing capacity of approximately seven million tons of oil, supplying fuel to occupying forces and military operations in Ukraine.
Ukrainian intelligence officials emphasize that this attack forms part of a broader strategy aimed at diminishing Russia’s military and economic capabilities.
During a recent briefing, the General Staff highlighted that any target within Russia associated with supporting its illegal war against Ukraine brings us closer to achieving justice and peace.
