Chas Pravdy - 10 August 2025 13:30

On the morning of August 10, the Sumy region experienced another large-scale attack carried out with kamikaze drones.

Russian occupiers continue their tactics of destroying civilian and administrative infrastructure, aiming to intimidate the population and pressure Ukrainian authorities.

This time, an unsuccessful attempt was made to strike the building of the Sumy Regional State Administration — an attack drone deliberately hit the roof of the administrative structure, as confirmed by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleg Hryhorov.

Fortunately, thanks to prompt actions, no casualties among civilians were reported.

Hryhorov noted that this was the fourth attack on this building and that Russia systematically seeks to demolish regional infrastructure to sow panic and increase psychological pressure on residents.

He urged residents of Sumy to avoid critical infrastructure and administrative buildings during air raid alerts to prevent dangerous consequences.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, besides the attack on the administration building, Russian drones caused damage to multi-storey buildings and other facilities in the region.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian military forces continue active defensive operations, and today the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced the liberation of the border village of Bessalivka in Bilo-Pilsk community from Russian occupation.
