Russian Attacks on Kharkiv Region: One Dead, Three Women Wounded, Another Man Injured by Explosive Device

On Sunday, the situation in the Kharkiv region deteriorated further as Russian military forces launched new attacks targeting civilian settlements.

According to local police reports, several tragic incidents resulted in fatalities and injuries.

Around noon, Russian troops shelled the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, killing a 62-year-old man and injuring two women with varying degrees of wounds.

Later, at approximately 1:10 PM, an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) strike was carried out on the village of Kozacha Lopan, where a local resident born in 1957 sustained blast injuries and was promptly hospitalized for emergency medical treatment.

Another incident took place in Kupiansk city, where a 64-year-old man stepped on an unknown explosive device and sustained severe injuries.

The injured man was transported to a hospital in Kharkiv.

These successive attacks highlight ongoing dangers in the region and underline the urgent need for increased security measures to protect civilians from further harm caused by the ongoing conflict.
