Kremlin officials and US policymakers are actively discussing the possibility of holding a significant bilateral summit between the presidents of Russia and the United States.

According to increasingly circulated reports from Russian and international media, US President Donald Trump has confirmed his intention to meet with Vladimir Putin on August 15 in Alaska.

He stated that Alaska and the Arctic hold enormous potential for large-scale economic and strategic projects, which could unite the interests of both sides.

Ushakov also noted that following this meeting, another diplomatic session in Russia is likely, and an official invitation has already been extended to the American counterpart.

He stressed that preparations for the negotiations will proceed intensively in the coming days, although coordinating all details remains complex and requires diligent effort from both parties.Additionally, discussions in Kyiv and Moscow about territorial exchanges within the framework of Ukrainian-Russian negotiations are ongoing.

Senator Lindsey Graham expressed his belief that Trump will push for favorable agreements for the US and will not agree to detrimental deals in future meetings with the Russian leader.
