Rebrov predicts Dynamo’s advancement in Champions League qualifiers: “Team needs more focus”

Ukrainian national team coach Serhiy Rebrov expressed confidence that Kyiv’s Dynamo can overcome the Cypriot club Paphos in the Champions League qualification stage.
Following a 0:1 defeat in the first leg, the specialist shared his thoughts during a Sunday broadcast of the Ukrainian Premier League TV.
According to Rebrov, the initial phase was relatively easy, but now the team must concentrate and work on their mistakes.
“We had many opportunities in the first half of the second match, but underestimating the situation and lapses in focus led to the goal conceded.
It’s crucial now to regroup and show maximum concentration.
I believe Dynamo should proceed past this opponent,” he emphasized.
“Winning depends heavily on control of penalty areas and execution of set pieces.
If we lose in these crucial zones, winning becomes very challenging.” The second leg is scheduled to take place on Cyprus on August 12, and the winner will advance to the playoff stage, where they will face the victor between Lech Poznań from Poland and Red Star Belgrade from Serbia.
Recent reports have unexpectedly highlighted Dynamo’s loss in this matchup, sparking discussions among fans and experts.
It is worth noting that the team previously secured a convincing victory in the second round of the UPL season, which bolstered their confidence moving forward.
