Partisan Operations Disrupt Key Logistics Routes Near Rostov: Damaged Railway Infrastructure and Its Implications for the Enemy

On Sunday night, members of the partisan movement “ATES” carried out a daring and strategically significant sabotage operation that once again demonstrated the ability of underground groups to act deep behind enemy lines.
They damaged an important relay cabinet on the railway near Rostov, impacting a critical logistical hub in the region.
According to initial reports, the sabotage took place in the vicinity of the village of Kalinino, and the consequences proved catastrophic for transportation in this sector of the front. As a result of the railway shutdown, alternative supply routes experienced increased pressure, causing significant difficulties in delivering military equipment, ammunition, fuel, and personnel.
Experts stated that this disruption in logistics created a chain reaction, adversely affecting the enemy’s combat capabilities.
In response, Russian troops have been forced to reduce artillery fire intensity due to ammunition shortages, which is a significant factor in the front’s balance of power.Specialists believe that such partisan tactics considerably complicate the enemy’s planning of offensive operations and bring closer the moment of breaking their defenses.
They emphasize that targeted strikes on logistical centers quickly diminish the enemy’s combat effectiveness and exert additional pressure on their defensive line, opening new opportunities for Ukrainian forces.
It is worth recalling that similar attacks have already occurred in this region, including on railway stations in Russia near Rostov and the railway infrastructure of Yeisk.
