On Sunday, July 6, the Dnipropetrovsk region experienced a series of almost thirty Russian military assaults targeting the Nipro region, employing drones, artillery, and missile systems. According to Nikola Lukashuk, head of the regional council, several settlements, including Niko pol, Mirivska, Chervonohryhorivska, Marhanecka, and Pokrovsk communities, came under fire. These attacks resulted in multiple fires, damage to residential high-rises, shopping centers, private enterprises, and numerous private homes. Two outbuildings were completely destroyed, and critical infrastructure such as solar panels and gas pipelines was damaged, exacerbating the local crisis. In the Synelnykove district, a 51-year-old man was wounded during the shelling. Additionally, in the Mezhivska community, private residences and infrastructure suffered damages. The background of this violence includes an earlier attack on July 6 in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, where four civilians lost their lives due to Russian shelling. These repeated assaults underscore the ongoing tragedy inflicted upon peaceful residents and infrastructure across eastern Ukraine, with consequences that ripple through communities and families, piling up pain and destruction.
