Trump Reports: Iran Still Does Not Cease Uranium Enrichment and Maintains Potential for Nuclear Developments

Following the events of Friday, July 4, U.S. President Donald Trump issued yet another statement regarding Iran’s nuclear activities, emphasizing that Tehran has not agreed to inspections nor ceased uranium enrichment processes. According to him, Iran has not given an official nod to halt its nuclear pursuits, and its nuclear program remains active. However, Trump indicated that, in his opinion, Iran's nuclear program has been essentially paused, though there is a possibility that Tehran might resume it elsewhere. Notably, the President plans to discuss Iran's situation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his upcoming visit to the White House scheduled for Monday, July 7. Simultaneously, the Pentagon believes that U.S. strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites have significantly delayed Iran’s nuclear development by approximately one or two years. Parrella, a senior official, stated that all intelligence data currently indicate that the targeted facilities have been destroyed, further complicating Iran's nuclear ambitions and reducing its short-term capabilities.
