The military situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region has become increasingly tense, with Russian troops intensifying their operations. According to insights provided by the analytical platform DeepState, corroborated by their sources on Telegram, Russian forces have captured two villages — Zeleny Kут and Novoukrainка — located close to Dachne, which was recently occupied by Russian soldiers. Additionally, they have pushed further into the area around Odradne settlement, which Ukrainian defenders previously liberated and currently control. These settlements are situated near Dachne, an area under Ukrainian authority, despite Russian ambitions to extend their reach to the regional borders. The Ukrainian General Staff reports that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have operated in the area but were neutralized by Ukrainian forces. It is worth noting that the region has a lower population density compared to Donetsk, making swift advancement easier for Russian troops. Military expert Stanislav Bunjatov highlights that although Russia has yet to reach the administrative boundaries of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the evolving situation demands heightened vigilance and continued military resilience from Ukraine. The ongoing developments underscore the need for strategic planning and rapid response to contain further incursions.
