On July 4th, the regions of Donetsk and Kherson once again became the epicenters of destructive battles and shelling, resulting in multiple civilian casualties and extensive material damage. According to official sources — the military administrations of Donetsk and Kherson regions — the number of victims and injured has significantly increased over the course of the day. In Donetsk, at least two civilians were killed by Russian occupiers: one in the city of Kostiantynivka and another in Torske. Additionally, four people sustained injuries, with two in Pockrovsk and two in Kramatorsk. In Kherson region, 11 civilians were wounded during Russian shelling targeting residential areas. Local residents and rescue services report numerous damages to infrastructure: broken windows, destroyed roofs, damaged buildings, and ruptured gas pipelines. Specifically, Russian forces damaged two multi-story buildings, 26 private houses, a gas pipeline, a gas station, a garage, and several private vehicles. This tragic situation serves as yet another testament to Russia’s relentless aggression against Ukraine and the growing instability in the region, which endangers the lives of thousands of civilians.
