Current Status of Hostilities in Dnipropetrovsk Region: The Situation and Official Communications

Official representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not reported active combat operations within Dnipropetrovsk region at present. Despite this, the area remains tense, raising concerns among local residents and security analysts. Military experts and sources from defense sectors indicate that attempts by the enemy to breach Ukrainian positions are occurring nearby, although direct hostilities in this zone have not been officially recorded. Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the operational-strategic group 'Khortytsia,' clarified during a televised marathon that while no fighting is taking place directly within Dnipropetrovsk, the situation stays volatile due to Russian military activity in the vicinity. According to him, the adversary tries to establish control near Pokrovsk, advancing along the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway, and applying pressure in the Novopavlivka sector to break through towards the region. Analysts from DeepState reported temporary occupation by Russian forces of the settlements Novoukrainka and Zeleny Kут, located on the Pokrovsk frontline, as well as rapid advances in villages like Yalta, Zirka, and surrounding areas. Although the situation near Dachne remains tense, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the enemy, preventing them from consolidating their positions and maintaining regional stability.
