Kyiv experienced another aggressive missile attack by Russia, intentionally striking the warehouse and book storage facilities of the well-known Ukrainian publishing house 'Nash Format.' As a result, significant destruction occurred: the building's façade was completely destroyed, all windows shattered, ceilings damaged, parts of walls collapsed, and interior premises sustained substantial damage. In addition to material losses, some of the books stored there were also damaged in the blast. The publishing house's press service reported on Facebook that the situation requires immediate action. Fortunately, no staff members were harmed. They assured that they will continue to fight against missile terror, restore what was destroyed, and continue printing new books without interruption. At the same time, they announced a temporary halt of order shipments until next week, as the entire team is now focused on recovery efforts. Their website and call center remain operational, allowing customers to inquire about their orders. The publishers firmly believe in victory: “We know what we are fighting for. We publish books that build strength, critical thinking, and dignity — what Russia fears the most. So, you won’t see our defeat. We are working, we will endure, and we will win.” The representatives added that the resilience and spirit of Ukrainians help overcome any difficulties. Meanwhile, Ukrainians in the comments request the publication to sell the damaged books. Recall that on the night of July 4, Russia conducted one of the largest missile and drone attacks of recent months, deploying over 550 drones and missiles, of which 478 were shot down. Kyiv again became the primary target — debris fell in five districts of the capital, and 14 residents were injured, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
