Following a large-scale air strike carried out by Russian forces on Kyiv, the city quickly turned into a scene of chaos and emergency. Over the past few hours, numerous fires have erupted across the capital, caused by debris from enemy drones and missiles, with the number of injured exceeding ten, as confirmed by Mayor Vitali Klitschko. According to official reports, by 4:10 AM, the consequences of the attack had been recorded in five districts of the city. In Dnipro District, drone wreckage fell into residential courtyards and near a school, but without causing any fires. However, in Solomianskyi District, debris resulted in a fire at a garage cooperative, damaging storage facilities and an administrative building — leading to a large-scale blaze. In Sviatoshyn District, debris landed on warehouse premises, sparking a fire, while fragments also fell into the yard of a 16-story residential building, setting cars ablaze. Fires were also reported in private homes due to debris falls. In Darnytskyi District, fragments fell in several open areas without igniting fires or explosions. In Shevchenkivskyi District, debris damaged an eight-story residential building, which is still uninhabited; a fire broke out on its first floor. Similarly, in private sectors, fires were caused by debris impacts. At 4:32 AM, Kyiv’s mayor added that similar debris falls had been recorded in Holosiivskyi District, damaging a medical facility. By 4:52, it was reported that 14 people had been injured in the attack: two received immediate medical assistance, while 12 were hospitalized. As of 5 AM, the threat of drone and missile attacks persists, with alert signals ongoing for nine hours straight, indicating the possibility of further strikes on the city.
