US Reports Indicate Suspension of Military Aid to Ukraine Due to Internal U.S. Decisions
New reports and analyses emerging from the international military community reveal that the United States has temporarily halted the transfer of certain vital weapons and military equipment to Ukraine. According to military experts and investigative journalists, this clandestine pause affects several crucial types of military support, including missiles for air defense systems, artillery shells, and targeting systems for fighter aircraft. The decision also impacted shipments from Poland, where some deliveries had already been in transit but were later returned. These developments were disclosed by NATO military analyst Tom Bowen on his X (formerly Twitter) account, who stated that on U.S. bases in Poland, there remain significant stocks including 92 AIM missiles, 30 Patriot missile system (PAC-3 MSE) interceptors, approximately 8,500 artillery shells of 155mm caliber, 142 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, over 250 GMLRS rockets for HIMARS MLRS, as well as Stinger missiles and AT-4 anti-tank grenades. Although the official decision to suspend aid was made in early June, it has only now been enforced, with some weapons already en route but subsequently recalled. The halted shipments include interceptor missiles for Patriot systems, precision artillery shells, and fighter-launched missiles, particularly for F-16 aircraft. U.S. authorities explained this measure as necessary for conserving stockpiles in the event of future crises. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that they learned of these restrictions through media outlets and are currently clarifying the situation. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga emphasized that over the past one and a half years, Ukraine has experienced only two days without Russian drone and missile attacks. He warned that any delays in military assistance only serve to encourage further aggression by Russia rather than prompt negotiations. President Volodymyr Zelensky underscored that ongoing military support to Ukraine aligns with both Ukrainian and American interests, as a strong and resilient Ukraine remains a pivotal element of regional security.
