Russian Invaders Attack Firefighters in Donbas Using Drone During Rescue Operations

Amid the ongoing conflict in Donbas, alarm sirens once again echoed through the region late at night as Russian occupation forces carried out a new attack. This time, their target was a group of rescue workers who were engaged in eliminating the consequences of a previous shelling in the Druzkovka community of Donetsk region. An enemy drone was directed straight at these emergency responders, who were tasked with restoring safety and order in the war-torn area. According to reports from the State Emergency Service (SES), during their efforts near a private residential sector, the invading forces deliberately targeted the rescue personnel with a drone attack. Fortunately, all personnel managed to retreat to a safe distance in time, avoiding injury. However, the attack caused significant damage to their equipment, including a fire fighting truck, with windows shattered by the shockwave and compartments deformed. This assault not only damaged critical rescue assets but also created additional obstacle in the efforts to manage the damage aftermath. It is important to note that Russian troops have previously used drones for attacks; recent reports indicate that drones attacked Druzhkovka, resulting in three injuries and damage to at least four private houses. These escalating tactics reflect an increase in the intensity of Russian military operations in the region, posing serious threats to the local population and complicating efforts to stabilize the situation.
