On the morning of July 2nd, the city of Nikopol, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, became the scene of another aggressive assault by Russian military forces using combat FPV drones. Local and military sources confirm that the Russian unmanned aerial vehicles deliberately targeted residential areas, resulting in a tragic incident affecting civilians. According to Serhii Lysa, head of the regional military administration, four people sustained injuries during the attack and were promptly hospitalized. Among the victims was a 65-year-old man with severe wounds, as well as two men aged 44 and 49, along with a 40-year-old woman—all of whom are currently in moderate condition. In addition to the human toll, the strike caused damage to two parked cars nearby. Emergency services and medical personnel are already working to assess the damage and provide necessary assistance to those affected. The incident's details are still being clarified, but it once again highlights the dangers posed by modern drone warfare and the brutal toll that ongoing conflict inflicts on innocent civilians in the region.
