On the night of July 1 to 2, Russian forces launched a hostile drone attack on the village of Borivske in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region. This aggressive strike resulted in injuries to two local residents, a 22-year-old man and a 90-year-old elderly man. According to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office, the attack occurred around 11:40 PM. Although the drones were intercepted or destroyed, their impact caused significant destruction. Warehouse facilities belonging to a local enterprise were damaged, and windows of nearby residential homes were shattered by the blast wave. This alarming incident underscores the ongoing conflict and the persistent threat faced by Ukrainian civilians. An investigation has been initiated under Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which relates to violations of laws and customs of war. It is also worth recalling that earlier in the night, explosions and a fire broke out in Kharkiv due to a suspected drone attack, further emphasizing the tense security situation in the region.
