Last night, Russian occupying forces launched a fierce artillery strike on the peaceful city of Kherson, causing destruction and human casualties among civilians and healthcare workers. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the attack hit one of the local hospitals, damaging its structure and injuring eight individuals, including medical personnel and patients. Among the wounded is a 44-year-old nurse who suffered a blast injury, shrapnel wounds to the chest, and a concussion, and was hospitalized. Two other nurses received injuries and are undergoing outpatient treatment. Additionally, two women aged 57 and 64, and men aged 58 and 60, sustained shrapnel cuts, blast trauma, and concussions. All patients are currently receiving medical care. Another 69-year-old patient received necessary assistance and chose not to be hospitalized. It is also worth noting that recent days have seen shelling targeting critical energy infrastructure in the Kherson region, which has led to significant disruptions in energy supply and worsened living conditions for the local population.
