Powerful Explosion Near Zhytomyr: Two Dead and Property Damaged
Last night, a powerful explosion occurred along the M-06 highway near the village of Berezina in Zhytomyr region, resulting in tragic consequences for the local community. According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, at least two people died, and another 15 were injured of varying severity due to this emergency. Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the regional military administration, emphasized in his Telegram channel that, in addition to the human casualties, several private houses in neighboring settlements were damaged. By evening, the number of open lanes on the highway was reduced to a minimum, and movement is currently only possible with restrictions. Authorities urge drivers who planned to travel this route to refrain temporarily or postpone their trips until the end of the day, as safety remains the top priority.
