How to Register in the Applicant’s Electronic Cabinet: A Step-by-Step Guide for Applicants

In Ukraine, the enrollment campaign is currently underway, marking a crucial phase for prospective students aiming to enter higher education institutions. One of the most essential procedural steps at this stage is registering in the applicant's electronic cabinet—a modern, online portal designed to streamline and automate the submission of documents and applications. For the fourth consecutive year, applicants are taking the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST), which replaced the traditional External Independent Evaluation (ZNO). To access the portal, applicants need to start the registration process from July 1, 2025. This will enable them to access their results, upload documents, and submit applications for chosen specialties. The Ministry of Education and Science advises that, for registration, applicants must have a valid email address, which will serve as their login credentials. They will also need to create a secure password for future logins, and provide details of their previous education document—such as series and number—or individual taxpayer’s identification number (TIN). Additionally, information about NMST certificates or exam sheets, including the serial number, PIN-code, and date of receipt, is required. If certificates have been obtained in different years, applicants can enter data from any one of them, and the others can be added later within the portal. In case there are no certificates, applicants should specify their identification document data or tax identification number. Once registration is completed, an activation link will be sent to the provided email. This link must be followed within 15 minutes, otherwise, the registration process must be restarted. The Ministry notes that system overloads are possible due to high demand, so it is advisable to plan registration in advance. Registration remains open not only from July 1 but also until October 20, 2025, though it’s recommended to follow the deadlines for submitting applications according to your chosen admission pathway. All relevant dates and deadlines are published on the EDEBO official website. It is also worth reminding that this year’s 9th-grade graduates can take admission tests for colleges, so the registration procedures are relevant to them as well.
