It has become known who will soon assume the important role of German ambassador in Ukraine, replacing Martin Eger. According to the German publication Politico, the former Secretary of State for Finance, Heiko Toms, is set to take on this key diplomatic position. The decision has already been prepared and is expected to be officially approved by the government within the coming days. Reports indicate that a draft government resolution supports this personnel change, with the cabinet expected to endorse the appointment as early as Wednesday. Heiko Toms, aged 57, possesses extensive diplomatic experience and is recognized as one of the most qualified specialists in this field.
