Devastating Attacks in Nikopol and Synelnykove Districts: Human Losses and Widespread Destruction
On July 15th, the districts of Nikopol and Synelnykove in the Dnipropetrovsk region experienced intense shelling and drone attacks, resulting in considerable destruction and casualties. According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, seven civilians were injured during these hostilities, with five requiring hospitalization, including a 17-year-old girl. The enemy employed both drones and artillery, unleashing chaos, fires, and a pervasive sense of insecurity among local residents. Official reports indicate that in the affected settlements, two private houses, three household structures were damaged, and one building was completely destroyed. Photos and videos circulating in the media depict extensive damage: damaged vehicles, garages, enterprises, and key infrastructure elements. Furthermore, in Synelnykove district, Russian forces launched drone strikes on the Meyiiv community, damaging nearly thirty homes, along with vehicles and infrastructure facilities. During the night, armed drones (FPV drones) targeted the area, and early in the morning, artillery fire was directed at Velykomykhailivka. These attacks have left homes, cars, and vital infrastructure damaged, further destabilizing the region's already fragile security situation.
