Ukrainian Armed Forces Enhance Safety Measures at Training Centers: Ban on Gatherings and Improved Shelter Equipment

The leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has implemented a series of measures aimed at strengthening security protocols at training and rear military training grounds. According to Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, gatherings of personnel and military equipment at training centers are now prohibited, as well as the placement of service members in tent camps, which is critical for reducing risks and increasing safety margins. This decision forms part of strategic efforts to upgrade defense systems and personnel protection during training and preparation phases. The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that equipping shelters at training centers and ranges is mandatory, alongside the necessity for rapid and accurate air-raid alerts. As part of this, new shelters, dugouts, and other protective structures are being constructed, with additional engineering solutions being implemented to safeguard soldiers during exercises. Furthermore, Syrskyi highlighted that one of the priorities is to improve the overall military training structure. Plans include assigning newly formed army corps to corresponding training battalions operating within the training centers. The newly appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ihor Sybuk, will oversee the optimization of training processes. Overall, these measures aim to boost the combat readiness of Ukrainian troops, ensuring they can respond swiftly in critical situations, which will strengthen the country's defensive capabilities and secure personnel during drills and daily duties.
