Russian Invaders Shell Civilian Housing in Kostiantynivka: Three Civilians Injured and Significant Destruction Reported
On Tuesday, Russian military forces carried out a large-scale artillery attack on the residential neighborhoods of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region, resulting in severe consequences for the local civilians. According to the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office, the assault lasted for about an hour, during which both multi-storey and private homes were targeted, leading to extensive damage and injuries. Three civilians were wounded during the attack: a 52-year-old woman and her 32-year-old son sustained gunshot and shrapnel injuries in their residence, while another resident was injured outside on the street; all received medical treatment. The prosecutor’s office reports damages to two multi-apartment buildings, thirteen private residences, four commercial stalls, and gas pipeline infrastructure. Authorities have launched investigations to document and prosecute the military crime committed by Russian forces, aiming to bring those responsible to justice.
