Ukrainian Footballer Viktor Kovalenko Leaves Italian Club Empoli and Becomes Free Agent
The renowned Ukrainian footballer Viktor Kovalenko has made a significant decision to part ways with the Italian club Empoli, officially announcing his departure through the club's social media channels. The 29-year-old midfielder is now a free agent and free to sign with any team of his choosing to continue his professional career. Kovalenko joined Empoli this February on a contract lasting until the end of the current season. During his stint at the club, he made 8 appearances and scored one goal across all competitions. It is worth noting that Kovalenko was previously affiliated with Empoli, having returned there last summer on loan from Atalanta.
