Recent reports circulating in media and popular Telegram channels claimed that Russian forces had breached the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk province, citing data from the interactive DeepState map and some unofficial sources. However, Ukrainian officials swiftly refuted these claims, emphasizing that the situation remains under control and that active combat operations continue near the region's border. According to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Strategic Studies under the National Security and Defense Council, as of today, Russian troops have not crossed the administrative boundary of Dnipropetrovsk. "Fighting is ongoing close to the border, with intense clashes in the area. However, there has been no breakthrough. The Russians are conducting reconnaissance and drone flights over the region, but no significant breakthrough or advance has been recorded," he stated. Additionally, Viktor Tregubov, spokesman for the Operational Command 'Khortytsya,' added that Ukrainian defenders are responding effectively and maintaining control of the situation. He mentioned that the enemy is more focused on counteroffensive attempts near the border, but there is no evidence of a breakthrough at this time. These official statements confirm that the situation remains under control by Ukrainian forces, with no indications of breakthroughs or significant changes along the front line for now.
