Klichko Signs Decision on Temporarily Suspending First Deputy Mayor Amid Internal Investigation

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klichko on Monday, June 30, officially signed a resolution to suspend the first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Mykola Povoroznyk, from his duties. The decision was made as part of an internal investigation into the deputy’s activities and conduct. In his public statement, Klichko emphasized his adherence to the law and proper legal procedures. "The mechanism for appointing and dismissing the first deputy head of KCSA is clearly regulated by Ukrainian law, and I will not violate these norms regardless of external pressures or suggestions," he wrote in his Telegram channel. He further assured that all circumstances and grounds for this decision will be transparent and well-founded.
