Escalation in Kharkiv Region: New Drone Attacks Bring Increased Casualties and Damage

The Kharkiv region has once again experienced a surge in casualties caused by enemy drones, marking a new wave of aerial strikes on Wednesday, June 30. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the number of those injured in these latest drone attacks has risen to eight. All victims are residents of the city of Pisky, located within the Kharkiv district, including a child. Reports indicate that during the attack, a fire broke out in a service station building covering approximately 50 square meters. In addition, neighboring localities suffered incidents, with two fires occurring in the city of Dergachi: one in a warehouse of a private enterprise covering 1,000 square meters, and another in an agricultural enterprise building measuring 200 square meters. Fortunately, these fires did not result in any injuries. The night passed without further serious incidents in the village of Kurortne, Chuhuiv district, where a cafeteria of a sanatorium was ablaze over an area of 300 square meters. Earlier reports indicated that from 00:40 on June 30, loud explosions could be heard outside Kharkiv city, likely linked to new drone attacks targeting the region.
