Ukrainian forces launched a new strike against Russian targets in the Bryansk Region

The Main Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed the successful operation targeting a munitions depot in the Bryansk Region of Russia, which took place on June 28 of this year. This two-sided, precise, and targeted attack was carried out by forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in close cooperation with other units of the Armed Forces, including missile forces and artillery. The goal of this operation was to diminish the combat and logistical capabilities of the Russian army, which is attempting to carry out aggressive actions against Ukraine. According to representatives of the General Staff, the strike was directed at the object of the 1060th Logistics Support Centre, based at the former 120th Arsenal of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense. This strategically important facility functions as a logistics hub for storing and supplying ammunition and equipment to the Russian occupation forces. Preliminary data confirm that the target caught fire and was destroyed; however, the number of affected depots and the extent of the destruction are currently being clarified by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. The details regarding the scope of damage and precise losses remain under control, but it is already clear that the operation had a significant impact on the capabilities of Russian troops amid their aggressive policies. Additionally, Ukrainian military intelligence reported a successful operation in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, a special operation was conducted at the Kirovske military airfield with maximum precision, resulting in the destruction of three Russian helicopters and the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile system. This attack further confirms that Ukrainian special services are actively working on the informational and operational front, aiming to weaken the enemy’s military potential, disrupt its logistics system, and hinder combat operations. Earlier, as part of the same high-precision campaign, Ukrainian drones affiliated with the Main Intelligence Directorate struck missile fuel depots in the Bryansk Region of Russia. This caused fires that led to large-scale blazes at storage facilities, further damaging Russian logistics networks and their ability to rapidly redeploy reserves to the front. Representatives of the General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian defense forces will continue to focus all their efforts on destroying enemy logistical channels, weakening their combat potential, and creating the most favorable conditions for ending Russia’s military aggression. They underscored that each successful operation brings Ukraine closer to gaining a strategic advantage and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Ukraine and its armed forces are prepared to continue conducting precise strikes against facilities used by the enemy for storing and replenishing weapons and equipment, with the aim of effectively eliminating threats and accelerating the process of liberating Ukrainian territories from occupation.
