Ukrainian defense forces achieved 111 combat victories in direct battles with Russian occupiers over the course of a day

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports: since June 28, Ukrainian defenders have repelled attacks by Russian troops in 111 separate combat encounters on various fronts. This is yet another confirmation of the resilience of the Ukrainian front and the high combat discipline of our military in the fight for independence and the country's integrity. Detailed information provided by the General Staff demonstrates the complexity and scale of the situation across all strategic directions. In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seventeen enemy assault attempts, preventing the enemy's advances in areas where active fighting is taking place. The defenders successfully fended off attacks on this front, halting further breakthroughs, particularly in areas close to Kursk. No additional details about destruction or the number of enemy casualties are currently available. In South Slobozhansky, specifically in regions around Vovchansk and Stroiivka, the Ukrainian army repelled six enemy attacks, with two more active clashes ongoing. This indicates a tense situation and a tight defense in this strategically important zone. Meanwhile, on the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attempted six times to push Ukrainian units out of their positions in the areas of Holubivka, Stepy, Novoserivka, and Zelene Hai. Battles continue there, and the situation remains tense. On the Lyman front, the enemy launched 16 attacks in the areas of Nadiya, Novohorivka, Ridkodub, and Zelenaya Dolina. Ukrainian troops defended their positions in these battles—some clashes are still ongoing, and the enemy suffered losses, including from an air strike that hit the settlement of Pidlyman. Additionally, on the Siversky direction, Ukrainian forces successfully stopped seven enemy attack attempts near Hryhoriivka, Verkhnekamyanske, and Vyimka. One combat encounter is still ongoing. This demonstrates the high level and operational effectiveness of Ukrainian defense in the northern regions. On the Kramatorsk front, Ukrainian defenders thwarted three attempts to advance in the directions of Chasiv Yar and Bilya Hora. At the same time, in the Toretsk area, the enemy tried eight times to break through the defense, particularly in the regions of Kurdyumivka, Leonidivka, and Yablunivka. This indicates increased hostilities in the eastern part of the country. On the Pokrok direction, the enemy was active with 34 assault and offensive actions, including in the areas of Popiv Yar, Myrne, Myrolubivka, Malynivka, Koptieve, Promin, Lysivka, Udaichne, Kotliarivka, Horikhove, and Olexiyivka. The aggressor also launched an air strike on Pokrovske, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses. The battles are ongoing, and enemy positions are being assessed. In the Novopavlivka region, Ukrainian defenders stopped nine enemy attacks in the areas of Yalta, Zaporizhzhia, Dniproenergo, Veseloye, and Shevchenko. Three clashes are still ongoing, and the enemy carried out an air strike on the settlement of Beryozove in an attempt to increase pressure. On the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces are defending in the Malynivka area, repelling offensive actions by the aggressors. Meanwhile, on the Orihiv sector, one combat encounter took place: the enemy tried to advance near Kamyanskyi, but Ukrainian units hold the defense, demonstrating high military skill. Overall, the situation remains difficult, but Ukrainian defenders show resilience and the ability to halt any enemy pressure. Continuous active resistance, fierce battles, and a high level of organization enable us to hold the defense in all key directions and prepare for further counterattacks. Authorities and military leaders call on Ukrainians to stay vigilant and support the Armed Forces, which continue to defend the country even in the most difficult times.
