Russian missiles destroyed a facility in Zaporizhzhia: Regional Military Administration reports damage and prolonged alarm
On the night of June 29, the city of Zaporizhzhia was again subjected to a missile attack by Russian forces. Official information from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration confirmed that the strike occurred around 3 a.m. According to Head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov, around 3:10 a.m. he posted a message on Telegram stating that during the air attack, a manufacturing building of a local enterprise was severely damaged. However, preliminary data indicate that no civilians were reported injured, which is a significant comfort amid this armed conflict. The day before, at 2:16 a.m., Fedorov reported explosions in the region, and earlier he mentioned the existence of a threat of ballistic missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia oblast. This points to increasing tension and a constant danger for the local population, which has been under a continuous threat for several days. Overall, the combat alert lasted over seven hours straight — from the evening of June 28, starting at 21:16, until 4:56 a.m. the next day. This means that residents of the region lived for several hours in a state of anticipation of new strikes, highlighting the difficult situation in the Zaporizhzhia region. Such large-scale shelling not only destroys infrastructure but also reminds us of the stubborn and cynical tactics of the aggressor, which knows no bounds in its quest to sow chaos and fear. Currently, law enforcement and military personnel are taking all necessary safety measures to minimize the consequences of the attack and safeguard the population. This once again demonstrates that Zaporizhzhia and its residents have long been a primary target of the Russian army in this large-scale war.
