IAEA Warns: Iran Could Resume Enriched Uranium Production Within Months Despite Nuclear Infrastructure Damage

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Mariano Grossi, made a significant statement regarding Iran's nuclear program, expressing confidence that the country possesses all the necessary prerequisites to rapidly resume the production of enriched uranium, despite recent damages to nuclear facilities. According to him, Iran's nuclear infrastructure has retained its industrial and technological capabilities, allowing it to restart activities within a few months if politically decided. Reports and analyses confirm that recent strikes caused serious damage to facilities in Natanz, Fordo, and Isfahan, but these damages are not considered terminal. Grossi emphasizes that Iran has the knowledge and industrial base to recover quickly, and a political decision is merely awaiting execution. At the same time, he notes that IAEA does not analyze Iran's intentions regarding nuclear weapons but monitors and reports on Iran’s activities. The traces of uranium found in unreported locations remain unresolved, raising many questions. Diplomatic efforts to restore cooperation with Iran should continue, as military measures alone cannot resolve this issue definitively.
