On Friday, June 27, at least one civilian was killed and three others were injured in the Kherson region during massive Russian shelling on the territory of the region. This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on his official Telegram channel. According to him, all these tragic events were the result of attacks carried out by the enemy, which included the use of drones, artillery shelling and air strikes on various settlements in the region. On the day of the attack, Russian military personnel were active in several remote parts of the region, including Antonivka, Naddnipryansky, Sadovye, Prydniprovsky, Stepanivka, Molodizhne, Komyshany, Chornobayivka, Belozerka, Tomyna Balka, Veletensky, Kizomys, Dniprovsky, Myrolyubivka, Novodmytrivka, Darivka, Ponyativka, Mykilsky, Tokarivka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Mylovye, Respublikanka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Tyahynka, Lviv, Burgunka, Virivka, Chervony Mayak, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Zolotaya Balka, Osokorivka, Shevchenkivka, Khreschenivka, Vesele, Kozatsky, and the central part of Kherson itself. This confirms the scale and purposefulness of the attacks aimed at destabilizing the region's life. According to the Ukrainian military and rescue services, the Russian occupiers targeted the critical infrastructure of the region. In particular, the fire came under fire on energy and gas systems, residential areas, which led to damage to high-rise buildings and private houses. According to preliminary information, the shelling damaged gas pipelines, garage complexes, as well as private vehicles. Several private residential buildings and utility buildings also suffered significant damage. The situation was especially tense on Friday evening. At 18:20 Kyiv time, the Russian occupiers attacked a local resident from a drone in the Dniprovskyi district of the city of Kherson. As a result, a 48-year-old man was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved. This is yet another confirmation that the enemy continues to conduct active combat operations in the region, using various means to destroy targets. Overall, the situation remains tense, and the consequences of Russian attacks have a serious impact not only on military infrastructure, but also on the civilian population. Local authorities and security services assure that they are doing everything possible to ensure security and the rapid restoration of damaged facilities, but the reality remains complicated by constant shelling and terrorist actions by the occupiers.
