Ukrainian special services strike powerful blow at enemy in Crimea

On the night of June 27-28, Ukrainian security forces conducted a successful operation, destroying several military targets on the temporarily occupied peninsula. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, as a result of targeted actions, the enemy aviation complex was completely eliminated, three enemy helicopters and the Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun complex based at the Kirovskoe military airfield were destroyed. This is a strike on military facilities that not only inflicted significant losses on the occupiers, but also demonstrated the ability of Ukrainian special services to operate behind enemy lines even in difficult conditions. According to an official representative of the SBU, the strike was the result of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, which were launched by Ukrainian special services in the evening. They directed their drones specifically at the facilities of the airfield located in the occupied Crimea. According to preliminary data, the attack destroyed multi-purpose helicopters Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28 attack helicopters, as well as a powerful missile and artillery complex "Pantsir-S1". In addition, it is reported that a secondary detonation occurred on the territory of the airfield, which further complicated the situation for the occupation forces and confirmed the seriousness of the losses inflicted. It is noted that the Ukrainian military acted with high accuracy and minimized the risk of spreading damage among the civilian population or in territories controlled by the Ukrainian side. The operation was another manifestation of Kyiv's ability to scout and destroy the enemy's logistical and combat targets in the occupied Crimea, which remains one of the main bridgeheads for Russian forces in the southern direction. Domestically and internationally, this once again proves that Ukraine is actively countering the aggressor and has the ability to act effectively even in the territory officially declared under Russian control. The situation around the Crimean direction remains tense. The occupiers are strengthening the protection of military facilities, but this is not the first time that Ukrainian special services have demonstrated their ability to deliver pinpoint strikes on important targets behind enemy lines. This operation also has a psychological aspect, as it destroys the myth of the impenetrability and indestructibility of Russian military resources in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Official Kyiv emphasizes: each such strike calls into question the security of the occupation administration and step by step increases the pressure on the enemy, contributing to the return of territories to Ukrainian control. Ukraine's intelligence and military strategy are demonstrating increasingly high professionalism and ability to operate in the most difficult conditions every day. And the destruction of three helicopters and Pantsir-S1 in Crimea is a vivid example of the fact that Ukrainian defenders will not remain indifferent to threats and will actively repulse any challenges of the aggressor. This is another important step towards the de-occupation of the peninsula and ensuring the security of Ukraine in full.
