Shelling of Belozerka in Kherson Region: 47-Year-Old Man Injured by Russian Fire

Early in the morning, at around 9 a.m., Russian occupation forces again opened fire on the settlement of Belozerka in the south of the Kherson region. This attack occurred at a time when local residents were just waking up and going about their business. As a result of the artillery shelling, a local man, a 47-year-old man, who was in his garden at the time, was injured. According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the man received a mine-explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to the knee joint, which requires specific medical intervention. According to sources in the regional state administration, immediately after the shelling, the man was quickly taken to the nearest medical facility, where he was provided with the necessary assistance. The patient will be under outpatient supervision, as his condition is considered stable. Doctors note that such injuries do not pose a mortal threat, but they have a significant impact on health and require careful treatment and rehabilitation. This is not the first case of violence by the Russian occupiers in this territory. According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, in just a few days — from June 27 to the present — several cases of violence have been recorded in this part of the region, including fatalities and injuries. In particular, these days the Russians used artillery in Belozerka, which led to the death of one local person and the injury of three more. This indicates a growing number of attacks and increased aggression by the occupation forces, who are trying to suppress resistance and intimidate the population. The shelling of the Kherson region has become one of the most horrific manifestations of Russian military aggression in recent months. Local residents are anxiously awaiting a ceasefire and for peace to finally come. At the same time, Ukrainian troops continue to hold the defense in the region, despite numerous provocations and shelling, seeking to regain control over the territory and protect their citizens from new victims. Overall, the situation in the Kherson region remains tense and extremely difficult. Local residents and military personnel fight for their lives and safety every day, while Russian troops carry out shelling aimed at sowing fear and distrust. Citizens call for international attention and increased support for Ukraine in confronting Russian aggression, in order to put an end to these destructive actions and restore peace to the region.
