Russian troops have intensified offensive operations in the Kharkiv region, trying to cut off the Oskil route

In the Kharkiv region, the enemy has again intensified offensive operations, focusing its efforts on the Kupyansk direction and trying to break through Ukrainian positions on the Oskil River. According to the latest data, the occupiers are conducting aggressive assaults in the area of the village of Zagryzove, but their attempts are ending with numerous losses and without significant success. This was reported by the commander of the 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems "Achilles" Yuriy Fedorenko in a comment to "Armiyainform". According to him, the Russians are making every effort to break through the Ukrainian front, but their direction is constantly blocked by Ukrainian defenders. The first operational brigade is actively operating in this area, which holds positions near the village of Kolisnykovka. It is noted that the enemy used tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and lightly armored vehicles a few days ago, although previously it had not used heavy weapons in this direction. “Usually the enemy operates with highly maneuverable vehicles and assault infantry, but now it has decided to launch a frontal attack,” Fedorenko comments. “Our military was able to destroy several units of enemy equipment and strike at enemy infantry groups, which forced them to temporarily retreat.” He also added that the Russians are trying to intensify assault operations near the village of Dvorichna in order to advance to the Oskol River and establish pontoon crossings. However, these attempts have so far been unsuccessful: Ukrainian defenders are observing the active point of the enemy’s attempts to operate using boats, rafts and even across a ford. As a reminder, the analytical resource DeepState previously reported that Russian troops allegedly captured Dvorichna and advanced into the neighboring village of Kindrashivka. According to the head of the Kupyansk district military administration, Andriy Kanashevich, a group of Russian infantry entered a forest area near the central part of Kindrashivka, but the occupiers are currently localized in this settlement and do not have the logistical capabilities for a long-term hold and active combat operations there. In general, the situation in the Kharkiv region remains tense. The Ukrainian military continues to hold the defense and, through the efforts of effective counterattacks, does not allow the enemy to reach strategic objects and borders. At the same time, it is possible that in the coming weeks the enemy will try to repeat the assaults using ammunition and equipment, so the Ukrainian side continues to strengthen defensive measures and is preparing for any scenarios for the further development of the situation.
