The Ukrainian Air Force officially denied the information spread on social networks about the “KAB attack on the Dnieper”, pointing to a different reality - the national defenders note that this is a supersonic target that was successfully shot down in the suburbs of the city. According to data released by the press center of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR, the situation occurred at around 11:30 in the morning, when an air target was recorded flying over the territory temporarily occupied by Russian troops in the Zaporizhia region. The target was launched from a tactical aircraft belonging to the armed forces of the aggressor country, and according to preliminary data, it flew over a hundred kilometers before being shot down by air defense systems. The official position of the Ukrainian military is that the fragments of the target are still being examined to accurately determine its type and characteristics.
