Weather at the end of June: short-term rains, thunderstorms and heat expected
In the second half of June, Ukrainians will be waiting for unstable weather: for several days, short-term rains will pass in the country, in places with thunderstorms, hail and gusts of strong squalls. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, from June 28, from the beginning of next week, precipitation of varying intensity will begin in most of the territory, but in general, a warm climate with temperature fluctuations will remain. People's forecasters and meteorologists predict that the period of elemental explosions will be local and short-term, but it is worth being prepared for weather changes in the first days of summer. On Thursday, June 28, Ukrainian weather will again be marked by short-term rains, which will pass in almost all regions. Thunderstorms are forecast in most regions during the day, while significant precipitation and hail are possible in the east and southeast of the country, with wind gusts reaching 15-20 m/s. According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, the night temperature will fluctuate within 12-18 degrees Celsius, and warm weather is expected during the day - 19-25 degrees. In the south, Transcarpathia and the east of the country, it is possible to increase the temperature to 28-30 degrees. The wind will prevail from the north-west, in the western, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions its gusts will reach 15-18 m/s. In Kyiv on the same day, short-term light rains will occur, and the night temperature will be 15-17 degrees, during the day - up to +23 degrees. The wind will blow from the north-west, at a speed of 7-12 m/s. The next day, June 29, in Ukraine, the tendency to short-term rains with thunderstorms will persist. The temperature regime will remain almost unchanged: at night – 12-18 degrees, during the day – 19-25. The wind will gradually change direction from north to north-west at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the capital, the weather on this day will again be without significant precipitation — the night temperature in Kyiv will fluctuate within 13-15 degrees, and during the day the thermometer will rise to +24 degrees. Without significant precipitation on Sunday, June 30, when the night and day temperatures will remain around 13-15 and 19-25 degrees, respectively. In the southwestern regions, light rains are possible in the east of the country. After the first days of July, the weather will improve slightly, however, in the northern and eastern regions, there will be a high probability of short-term precipitation, including thunderstorms and hail. At the same time, hot weather should not be expected on the islands - the temperature will prevail within 19-25 degrees, and in the south and Transcarpathia it will rise to 28-30 degrees in places. In the future, despite short-term calm and cooling, Ukrainians will face seasonal unpredictability, which should be taken into account in plans and in case of lightning-fast natural phenomena, since the weather at the end of June is quite changeable and unpredictable.
