Russian strikes leave Nikopol region at risk, destroy infrastructure

At night, Russian troops again shelled the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, causing devastating damage and injuries among civilians. According to official information published by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, on his Telegram channel, the enemy used FPV drones, which caused a serious cumulative destructive effect in the region. According to Sergeant Lysak, the attacks continued throughout the night, and the Russians did not spare infrastructure facilities, targeting settlements belonging to the Nikopol community. Four residents were injured as a result of the shelling - they are already being provided with the necessary medical care, in particular, the wounded received first aid on the spot, and some were hospitalized in medical institutions. The destruction and destruction covered a wide range of objects: damage was recorded to an outpatient clinic, an administrative building, three apartment buildings, a local store and a market square. In addition, the enemy purposefully destroyed power lines, which caused power outages in the region. Several cars were also damaged and fell victim to explosions. Unfortunately, this is not the first wave of attacks in the region, and the situation remains tense. The Commander-in-Chief of the Regional Defense noted that two missiles and five enemy drones were also destroyed during the nighttime shelling. This can be seen as part of the efforts of the Ukrainian defense forces to repel the enemy and minimize the consequences of the night strikes. Representatives of the local authorities support their information with numerous photographs and videos taken by eyewitnesses, which show the consequences of the destruction. They urge residents to be cautious and not to ignore air raid warnings, as the danger remains high in the region. This attack clearly demonstrates that Russian aggression continues to put pressure on the civilian population of the Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying vital infrastructure and creating tension in the daily lives of residents. It is expected that Ukrainian services will do everything possible to restore the destroyed and combat further shelling, but the situation remains tense and requires maximum efforts from the country's defense.
